Job Description

The Global Product Master Data Manager assures governance of the Informatica solution and product data and drives the implementation of a long-term data governance roadmap. This role ensures world-class Product Master Data management services, including availability, integrity, usability, and security of global product master.

Key Responsibilities       

• Global Strategy & Data Governance: Lead Galderma’s global Product Master Data Strategy, ensuring cross-functional alignment and a culture of data ownership.
• System Ownership: Oversee structure, access control, validation, and life-cycle compliance of product data systems.
• People & Organization: Build and lead a sustainable, companywide Product Master Data team and community, with a strong focus on change management and talent development.
• Data Process Management: Enhance and document global master data processes (e.g., SOPs, roles, quality standards). Ensure GxP and regulatory compliance.
• Data Quality: Drive high-quality, consistent product data across all business areas.
• Innovation & Benchmarking: Track trends (e.g., AI, BI), propose improvements, and align practices with industry leaders to maintain competitive edge.

Skills & Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or IS/IT with business focus
• Strong experience in MDM leadership experience in an industrial (preferably life sciences or consumer) setting 5+ years in a senior management role with international scope
• Proven track record in Shared Services and MDM externalization
• Strong command of Master & Reference data best practices
• Experience with ERP, MDM tools, data modelling, life-cycle management
• GxP knowledge (GDP, eCSV), incl. ALCOA+ framework and IDMP · Skilled in data analysis, quality control, cleansing, and validation
• Change management and external consultant leadership
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
• Strategic thinking with implementation capability
• Strong communication skills
