Applications Developer 3

We are seeking someone who is an excellent problem solver, analytical thinker and quick learner. Candidate will be part of a lean agile team where multiple professional specializations will be required. You would get the opportunity to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.   

• You will gain experience interacting with users to gather requirements and validate solutions.  
• As a member of our software engineering group you will design, develop, test and deploy business intelligence solutions using the tools and technologies available within Oracle
• You will do data analysis to find issues in resulting data sets and make recommendations for code fixes to achieve the desired results
• You will do exploration and innovation work to recommend technical solutions to business problems

Career Level - IC3

The following are the responsibilities of the role:

• Work within an global agile team structure to estimate and deliver on work 
• Using continuous improvement and continuous delivery methodology (CI/CD) deliver work products from design to development, testing and deployment
• Using data analysis and data science techniques, analyze data sets to find issues and make recommendations for technical remediation to achieve the desired results.
• Attend meetings as needed to support above work
• Collaborate with team members in supporting groups to achieve the needed results

Preferred knowledge in any of the following:

• ETL/ELT tools  – preferably OCI Data Integration / Oracle Data Integrator
• Understanding of Cloud Services around Analytics, Data Warehouse, Dimensional Modelling and SQL. 
• Data pipeline applications using various sources – Databases, OCI Object Storage, any SaaS application or Custom application deployed in Cloud or customer premise
• Data Engineering using Spark / Python
• Modern Cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP) 
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or any other public Cloud is a plus
• Analytics applications such as Oracle Analytic Cloud or equivalent such as PowerBI
• An understanding of performance tuning at various layers in order to optimize the applications throughput. 
• Domain/business knowledge in Finance /Bookings/Revenue/Install Base/Support Services
