iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

Join our Downstream Processing (DSP) team as Downstream Processing Associate Scientist VIE and you’ll be experiencing inspiring times to develop next-generating therapeutics born from synergies between our beloved NANOBODY® molecules and exciting new technologies included but not limited to:

  • Precision-activated biologicals
  • Novel drug conjugates
  • Novel routes of administration
  • Lipid-nanoparticle CAR-T technology

Our Downstream Processing (DSP) team is crucial within Large Molecular Research's Early CMC department, designing and performing purification processes for preclinical and early clinical evaluation—from candidate selection to scaled production.

You will work in a dynamic, sometimes high-paced but positive environment where work is important but so is having fun from time to time! You will discover our diverse and international team of around 26 people, willing to share their experience and expertise with you so you can immerse yourself in the wonderful world of data, DSP and beyond of NANOBODY® and NANOBODY®-based modalities within the DSP and beyond!

Main responsibilities:

  • Be immersed in diverse data-driven activities, visualizing and analyzing large data sets.
  • Use PowerBI, Spotfire, R and Python, allowing you to gain valuable insights in purification processes.
  • Work with automated systems, as well as using historical ones, to collect generate and process large data sets.
  • Apply data science techniques and support predictive modelling to enhance the efficiency, sustainability and scalability of NANOBODY® related production processes.

About you
 

Experience:

  • Experience in one or more programming languages (preferably R and/or Python).
  • Experience of business intelligence tools, such as Spotfire, PowerBI and/or Superset.
     

Education:

  • Master's degree in Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences or a relevant field.

Technical and soft skills:

  • Hands-on mentality and comfortable with operating high-tech equipment.
  • Demonstrable programming skills.
  • Knowledge of typical purification techniques such as Ultrafiltration/diafiltration, Ion exchange, Size exclusion and/or Protein A affinity chromatography) would be a great plus.
  • Knowledge of Liquid Handlers such as TECAN EVO or Fluent would be an asset.
  • Strong drive to learn about relevant techniques and equipment.
  • Good organizational skills, scientific curiosity, proactive attitude, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team player with ability to communicate openly.

Languages:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
