Overview

Scope of Responsibilities:  Works under direct supervision.  Relies on experience and judgment to contribute to team tasks and goals.

 

Job Summary:  Perform various entry level, clerical and support duties throughout the Department.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

  • Asist in analyzing large datasets related to pharmacy data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Assist in creating visualizations to track rebate performance and formulary compliance.
  • Assist in developing reports and dashboards to monitor key metrics and market share trends.
  • Assist in the development of automation processes for data reporting and analytics.
  • Assist in creating detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings
  • Assist in building models to forecast the financial impact of different formulary decisions.
  • Conducting cost-benefit analyses of various rebate strategies.
  • Help develop prospective savings model for clients considering Utilization Management programs
  • Help enhance Utilization Management savings model
  • Evaluate the economic implications of new drug introductions.
  • Explore methods to distinguish non-340b claims from 340b pharmacies.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to enhance business insights.
  • Explore opportunities to extract and structure data from unstructured clinical notes to inform formulary decisions
  • Explore opportunities to deploy Natural Language Processing (NLP), predictive analytics, and deep learning applications as relevant to project needs

Qualifications

Experience:

 

  • Required:   currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in economics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; basic proficiency in Python or R for data analysis; familiarity with Excel (formulas, pivot tables etc.).
  • Preferred:   exposure to SQL or willingness to learn, experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib, worked on personal or school data projects, ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms, especially when presenting data insights.

Educational Requirements:

  • Preferred: Undergraduate student majoring in Sales, Marketing or Advertising

Compensation

 

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour

 

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
