Power BI NASA OC Support

Leidos is seeking a skilled Power BI IT Professional to support data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives across NASA and Leidos organizations. The selected candidate will play a key role in transforming raw data from diverse NASA systems into actionable insights through robust Power BI dashboards and dataflows. The selected candidate will report to the OC IT Lead and will work closely with NASA data POCs, analysts, and program managers. This role is ideal for an IT professional with strong analytical skills and a proven track record of working with large, complex datasets in a government or enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to NASA and Leidos organizational needs.
  • Build and manage dataflows and datasets in Power BI to integrate data from multiple NASA systems.
  • Collaborate closely with NASA customers and stakeholders to identify reporting needs and establish appropriate dataflows to support Power BI reporting.
  • Translate customer requirements into efficient data models and intuitive visualizations.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance in all reports and dashboards.
  • Implement data governance and security standards as defined by NASA's IT policies.
  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support to OC team using Power BI.
  • Automate reporting processes and optimize existing BI solutions for efficiency and scalability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field and 3 or more years of hands-on experience developing with Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
  • Proficiency in designing and managing Power BI dataflows and integrating data from disparate sources.
  • Experience working with enterprise-scale systems and datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization in BI solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with federal government data systems or in a NASA-related environment.
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Services, SQL, and APIs for data integration.
  • Knowledge of NASA internal tools and reporting structures is a plus.

This position requires a Public Trust background investigation; per contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
