Job Position Title: 

Senior Associate – ETL Developer (Oracle) - Advisory (LOS) - Mumbai

Exp : 2-5 years 

Job Description:  

The Datawarehouse Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database components within the data warehouse. This role involves ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and management to support the organization's analytics and business intelligence needs.  

Key Responsibilities:  

SQL Development: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data manipulation and reporting.  

ETL Processes: Collaborate on the development and optimization of ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.  

Data Integration: Develop procedures for seamless integration of data from various sources into the data warehouse.  

Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to enhance query performance and data retrieval.  

Database Maintenance: Ensure regular maintenance and updates to database components, including backups, indexing, and partitioning.  

Data Quality: Implement validation and cleansing processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy within the database.  

Technical Skills:  

Proficiency in SQL and database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.  

Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, or Oracle Data Integrator.  

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star schema and snowflake schema design.  

Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.  

Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.  

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.  

Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.  

Preferred Skills: Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting for automation tasks
