Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Advanced Analytics to lead and execute our data strategy and initiatives with a specific focus on Reporting for Walmart Care Operation. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in data analytics, business understanding, and data management. This role will be critical in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization by transforming data into actionable insights for business leaders, ensuring the highest standards of data quality and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Visibility and Standardization: Ensuring consistent data visibility through standardized and clarified metrics across all care business units.
  • Dashboard Consolidation: consolidate dashboards into a few key standardized ones that address the most critical business questions and integrating all dashboard applications into a single unified product to maintain consistency and streamline reporting processes.
  • Reporting and Insights: Establish reporting standards, create dashboards, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders. Ensure that data insights are accessible and understandable to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Self-Service Reporting Tools: Developing and implementing self-service tools that enable the analytics team to generate custom reports and visualizations independently.
  • Collaboration with Data Engineering: Working closely with the Data Engineering team to ensure a smooth and effective data pipeline that supports accurate and fast data delivery.
  • Understanding Business Context: Translate business requirements into strategic initiatives, build business cases, and drive business impact 
  • People Leadership: Help fostering a high-performing data analytics team culture through effective mentoring, coaching and training.
  • Continuous Improvement: Driving continuous improvement initiatives based on business feedback to enhance reporting accuracy, relevance, and usability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, with supervising experience.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
    • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
    • Strong understanding of data management and governance. 
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
