This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring IT professional to gain hands-on corporate experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Important Reminders:

  • Our 10-week program begins June 2, 2025, and ends August 8, 2025.
  • This a full-time role based in our Santa Monica HQ (at least 4 days in the office).
  • This is an hourly paid position that is full-time (40hrs a week).

Responsibilities:
As a Data Analytics Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting our team by transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. Your work will involve:

  • Collecting and consolidating data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and Excel files.
  • Cleaning, preprocessing, and organizing data to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Building reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like RealPage, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Communicating findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
  • Applying statistical methods to analyze trends and uncover data-driven insights.
  • Identifying and tracking key metrics to support business performance and improvement.
  • Conducting trend analysis and exploring predictive modeling techniques.
  • Leveraging tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel for analysis and reporting.
  • Assisting in data management and maintenance across databases and internal systems.

Requirements

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Experience or familiarity with the following will be considered a plus:

  • SQL: Ability to query relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Data Cleaning: Comfort with data preprocessing, formatting, and validation techniques.
  • Excel: Proficiency with advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
  • KPI Analysis: Ability to calculate, track, and interpret key performance indicators.
