IT Project Manager – Data and Analytics

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Coordinate with Analytics Product Owners to ensure project deliverables align with business requirements. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals. Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates on progress, challenges, and next steps. Gather feedback from stakeholders and incorporate it into project planning to enhance outcomes.
  • Ensure project team conducts thorough testing and validation of data solutions before deployment and all project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to company policies and procedures. 
  • Work with EDS engineers to implement best practices for data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Oversight, development, communication, and deployment of consistent project management best practices, including processes, tools, and reports.
  • Defines key project metrics. Assists in the development of a consolidated portfolio management dashboard supported by standardized project metrics.
  • Participates in sprint reviews to assess and communicate project performance of key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, key metrics, and outcomes.
  • Analyze completeness of financial budgets established prior to project approval. Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations. Document lessons learned and best practices to improve future project execution.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field. May consider 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Fluent English is a must.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or other Agile certification.
  • Experience with projects including Azure analytics, Azure Fabric, SAP and other ERP systems as data source, and ServiceNow for tracking user support tasking are desirable.
  • Knowledge of FMCG and Consumer Package Goods environments is nice to have but not mandatory.
  • Strong experience in managing projects required; managing or leading dynamic work teams required; experience in team management, supervision and/or change management is desired.
  • Proven IT business experience required. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment under pressure and sensitive situations. Strong business and industry knowledge working with commercial, financial, or supply chain functions.
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile Methodology and Azure DevOps for sprint planning and tracking.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-regional teams. Ability to influence and lead without direct authority. 
  • Expertise in negotiating with external service providers and internal business partners.
