Job Description:  

Data Management:
-           Improving the database & surrounding processes. Improvements include creating enhancements in data quality queries, documentation, process improvements, import scripts, and visual reports.
-           Initiate and manage data quality efforts. Compile, analyze, and interpret data as appropriate.
-           Write data import scripts.
-           Review individual data errors.
-           Model and implement new additions to database.

 Research and Program Support
-           Query clinical data for research requests. Coordinate major data projects and develop strategies to manage data. Communicate with researchers as they pull data needed for projects.
-           Supervise data entry and scanning of data into our clinical research database.
-           Document how data systems function.
-           Expand and edit data dictionary.
-           Support researchers in their use of data systems.

Expected Salary:

$53,000 - $57,000

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area.

Preferred Qualifications:  

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience writing T-SQL queries or procedures
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Experience designing databases
Experience documenting processes
Knowledge of R or Python
Knowledge of clinical processes
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to train others
