Power BI Developer

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Barcelona.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable and technically strong Power BI Developer to join our Data & Analytics team. This role is critical to the way we operate - designing, building, and maintaining the dashboards and reporting infrastructure that inform decision-making across the business.

This is a hands-on role that will report directly to the VP of Operational Strategy, with clear potential to grow into a team leadership position over time.

What You’ll Do

Dashboard Development & Maintenance:

• Design and build intuitive, high-impact Power BI dashboards for multiple business functions
• Translate business requirements into functional reports and visualizations
• Manage and optimize DAX calculations, measures, and calculated columns
• Maintain existing dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates

Data Modeling & Integration:

• Work closely with data engineers and stakeholders to integrate Power BI with enterprise data warehouses
• Build and maintain efficient data models that support cross-functional reporting
• Clean, transform, and prepare data using Power Query (M language)
• Collaborate with data engineering to align reporting layer with data architecture

Performance Optimization & Governance:

• Apply best practices in dashboard design, logic, and refresh management
• Take ownership of platform stability, access, documentation, and process
• Over time, contribute to building and mentoring a BI team as the business scales
• Ensure accuracy, security, and reliability of data across reports
