Chief Information Officer

Mission

The chief information officer, is pivotal in setting the vision and driving our technology & digital strategy, ensuring operational excellence, contributing directly to the ambitious growth and expansion of our Brand.
 
This role will develop the IT strategy, manage existing technology and lead our technology team across the globe making sure Stanley/Stella is seen as a leader and innovator in our industry “like no other.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy and roadmap in alignment with business 5 year plan goals and objectives ensuring our technology enables, supports and drives our growth
  • Understanding our eco-system and business model and provide though leadership on how to leverage technology to bring excellence & value add in everything we do, from the end customer experience all the way through our value chain back to the cotton field, keeping true to our core values of sustainability and responsibility (like no other)
  • Collaborate with and be a sparing partner to the senior leadership team on how optimizing business processes and prioritise technology initiatives that drive business value.
  • Monitor and analyse technology trends, advancements and best practices to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to innovate, provide excellent customer & partner experience and drive/enable business growth.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department and across the organization.
  • Oversee the management of IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity and data management to ensure systems efficiency, availability, scalability, overall business continuity and when needed recovery plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in IT governance and security by developing and enforcing needed IT policies and standards.
  • Manage IT budgets, resources and vendor relationships to regulate technology investments and performance.
  • Lead and mentor and grow the IT team to be a high value adding, business focused team, providing guidance, support and professional development opportunities.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in IT Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) at global level, IT Director or similar leadership role with 15+  years in IT management.
  • Very strong business orientation with ability to translate all technology initiatives into business value
  • Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and driving technology innovation in a multi-national environment with strong focus on Process  optimization & Change management
  • Ideally experience in B2B and B2B2C models in apparel industry with knowledge of franchise and service models or/and experience in large and mid-sized multinationals with product/distribution focus
  • Strong experience in ERP, CRM, eCommerce, Supply Chain and Business Analytics solutions
  • Experience with cloud computing, data analytics, SaaS solutions and other emerging technologies like blockchain, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, applications, cybersecurity, data management and data protection practices as well as on-shore / offshore delivery models
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to simplify technology discussions to focus on business benefits and change management
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Fluent in English and French and preferably other languages
