Sr Engineering Manager, Photoshop, Gen AI

We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of high-performing engineers in building the future of creative technology. What You’ll Do
Lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers working on cutting-edge projects in generative AI, intelligent agents, and next-gen user experiences.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Drive technical strategy in partnership with product, design, research, and other cross functional engineering teams.
Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support the career development of your team.
Build strong relationships across teams and functions to align on vision and execute effectively.
Ensure high-quality engineering practices, operational excellence, and resilient systems.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies, particularly in leveraging AI , agent frameworks, and applied machine learning.
What You Bring
Proven experience leading high-impact engineering teams, ideally with a mix of infrastructure and product focus.
A collaborative leadership style with a track record of fostering trust, alignment, and ownership across teams.
Deep understanding or hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, agent frameworks or related ML/AI ecosystems.
Experience with Agile development methodologies, including planning, retrospectives, and iterative delivery.
Strong systems thinking with an ability to translate vision into roadmap and execution.
Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for innovation.
Comfort working in environments with high levels of ambiguity and change.
Nice to Have
Background in creative tools
Experience working in hybrid orgs with research, product, and engineering.
Contributions to open-source AI frameworks or prior work in AI/ML-powered user experiences.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $143,700 -- $289,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
