NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Groups (NYPMG) are part of the physician enterprise of NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic health care delivery systems affiliated with two world-renowned medical schools. Through primary care and multispecialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with Columbia Doctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide families with high quality, patient-centered care close to home in the New York metropolitan area.

 

The Analyst will provide the department with strong analytical skills and will be responsible for internal and external reporting. Position activities are primarily rooted in basic research-oriented behaviors including sample review and data collection, basic measurements such as aggregation and summarization of data and general statistics and document practices. In this position, the analyst will critically analyze and interpret data across the department, derive strategic insights, and present conclusions to leadership to enable decision-making and planning. The analyst will develop or implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality. Additionally, the analyst will work on improving the departments’ overall reporting capabilities and be involved in developing reporting standards of new programs and services.

This is a Full-Time (37.5hr weekly schedule) position. Monday- Friday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM Located at 466 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY

 

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree

  • Tableau

  • Power Bl

  • EPIC Reporting

​Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of one to three years of related experience

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, interpret and visualize data from multiple sources with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively in a complex and matrix organizational structure.
