Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
- Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
- Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
- Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
- Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
- Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
- Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
- Liaising with the COOs/PMOs globally to define requirements for Climate Risk capabilities and reporting
- Tracking and reporting of project status and deliverables
- Management of the project roadmap
Required Qualifications:
Looking for Success driven professional Business Analyst with over 8+ years in the Financial and Banking domain with excellent knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, Business Requirements gathering, translating Requirements into Specifications and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of Broker-Dealer Execution, Securities and Derivatives products, Capital Markets and Financial Trading. Knowledge of various cross boarder financial regulations and its impact on trading is required.
- Extensive experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Verification and Validation, Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies used for the design, development, testing and maintenance of software
- Excellent business writing skills in writing business requirements and functional requirements in the form of BRDs, FRDs and User Stories with technical details to support actual implementation of a project
- Expert in writing and designing User Stories, managing Product Backlog and Sprint Backlog, assigning tasks in Jira, SharePoint, Confluence and using Kanban reports for estimation purposes
- Experience in developing detailed functional specifications through user sessions, interviews, meetings with business and development teams
- Deep understanding of Capital Markets and its products - Equities, Debt Financial Instruments, Derivatives, Exchange Traded Funds, Covered Funds , Options, Futures, Swaps and Trade Life Cycle , including understanding of Pricing , Risk measures and Finance P&L explains
- Solid understanding of the workflow, performing GAP analysis on existing system and suggest solutions for a new system based on business needs
- Excellent analytical and technical skills to clearly identify End to End integration and data flow in Financial Services Systems, Management Systems functionalities and corresponding order execution trade flow
- Proficient in executing User Acceptance Tests (UAT) and creating UAT Test Plan and UAT Test Cases, knowledge of various testing tools, coordination with DevOps and Program/Project QA/PMO teams is required.
- Hands-on and detailed-oriented in working with Relational databases like SQL Server , Oracle, creating SQL queries for verifying application reports, tables (Back-End Testing), calculations or aggregation functionalities and UI data validation
- Experience in Data/Business Analytics and ETL Tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Python to build KPI/KRI dashboards for management reporting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, building and maintaining relationships, self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, multi-task in fast pace environment and manage changing priorities
