What You’ll Do:

Premier League Productions (PLP) is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Data Analyst to support the growing Research and Insights department in our fast-paced and active organisation. Your primary responsibilities will be to work with the team to interpret and translate big-data sets into actionable insights, and to help to improve reporting processes and integrate new analytical tools into the team’s workflow. You will also be responsible for helping make data more prominent across departments and for it to become more integrated in decision making for key strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a STEM background, excellent analytical skills, with a hunger for new challenges and a desire to develop professionally, with an interest in content, particularly football.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a full-time fixed-term contract until 29th May 2026, based at our facility in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Analyse large data sets across a range of inputs to extract actionable insights, through SQL queries and Excel workflows

  • Help design and improve data collation and visualisation processes

  • Create dashboards for stakeholders, ensuring the key insights are surfaced in appropriate formats

  • Produce regular story-led reports across a range of topics, such as content consumption and broadcaster activity

  • Conduct review of key presentations, applying industry understanding & strategic thinking to ensure all presentations provide relevant

  • Research market trends to uncover regional insights around content consumption

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the business to deliver a 360 view of broadcasters

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

  • Proven experience in data analytics

  • A relevant degree or proven experience ideally in a similar role within the media or sports industry

  • A self-starter, with an ability lead new projects without clear direction

  • Intermediate understanding of SQL

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with analytics tools such as GA, PowerBI or Tableau

  • Strong oral and written communicator with experience translating stakeholder requirements into actionable insights

  • Advanced Microsoft office skills, PowerPoint and Excel in particular
