Role Overview:
Provide engineering support focused on yield, power, and performance management across multiple products, including CPUs and GPUs.
Conduct root cause analysis with in-depth investigation.
Experience in implementing AI/ML workflows in real projects is preferred.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in Scan Logic/MEM diagnosis is required, and familiarity with FIFA is a plus.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with Test and Foundry teams to prevent or minimize excursion events and ensure rapid response and resolution if excursions occur.
Yield Management:
Track and manage yield loss pareto from Foundry processes across various products.
Collaborate with subject matter experts in advanced diagnosis, process solutions, and FIFA teams to address issues effectively.
Tool Development and Enhancement:
Partner with IT and third-party vendors to enhance yield, power, and performance analytic tools, focusing on advanced Statistical Process Control (SPC) and early warning systems.
Benchmarking and Product Introduction:
Conduct manufacturing benchmarks across products and technology nodes, providing valuable insights for new product introductions.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Product Engineering, or a PhD with at least 8 years of experience.
Experience:
At least 6 years of professional experience working with CPU, GPU, or SOC products, focusing on yield, performance, and power optimization.
Technical Skills:
Demonstrated experience in Foundry process integration, with a comprehensive understanding of key process steps and the ability to evaluate process windows effectively.
Additional Skills:
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and machine learning, as well as Linux/Unix Shell scripting.
Familiarity with analytical tools like JMP, Exensio, or Yield Explorer is highly desirable.
Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in taskforce management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
Interpersonal Skills:
A team player with strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and proficiency in both spoken and written English.
