We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and be proficient in building queries and creating visualizations. This role requires expertise in SQL, Tableau, and BigQuery.
What You Will Do:
Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
Create and manage Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize data insights.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analysis.
Provide support for ad-hoc data requests and projects.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst in the financial services industry.
Must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and BigQuery.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ensure system accuracy and efficiency, and potential match quality against sanctions lists and databases.
Improve scanning accuracy and efficiency, algorithm management, and optimization.
Build collaborative partnerships between operations, product, engineering, policy, and audit teams to address regulatory, compliance, and system issues.
Review and validate the screening process to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience with other data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
Domain expertise in Sanctions is highly preferred. If not, experience in Compliance, Risk, and/or Financial Crimes is required.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
