We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and be proficient in building queries and creating visualizations. This role requires expertise in SQL, Tableau, and BigQuery.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.

• Create and manage Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize data insights.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analysis.

• Provide support for ad-hoc data requests and projects.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in the financial services industry.

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and BigQuery.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ensure system accuracy and efficiency, and potential match quality against sanctions lists and databases.

• Improve scanning accuracy and efficiency, algorithm management, and optimization.

• Build collaborative partnerships between operations, product, engineering, policy, and audit teams to address regulatory, compliance, and system issues.

• Review and validate the screening process to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience with other data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).

• Domain expertise in Sanctions is highly preferred. If not, experience in Compliance, Risk, and/or Financial Crimes is required.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
