Technical Lead- .NET

WHO YOU ARE:

Technical Lead plays a key role in the design, development/configuration, unit testing, installation, and ongoing maintenance of Zinnia software platforms. Works with stakeholders to develop solutions and/or products that fulfill the needs of Zinnia’s internal stakeholders and clients. Those solutions and/or products help Zinnia and Zinnia clients to be more efficient and provide better service to end customers. SSE interacts directly with project managers and business stakeholders and may periodically interact directly with Zinnia’s clients. Will facilitate, Architect, and enable junior team members by acting as a mentor for soft skills and/or technical subject matter experts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Lead and mentor a team of developers in delivering end-to-end solutions using .NET technologies
• Define technical architecture and provide best practices for coding, design, and performance optimization
• Drive development of applications using .NET Framework (.NET 4.x), .NET Core, and C#/VB.NET
• Architect and implement solutions using WinForms, ASP.NET (Web Forms/MVC), Web API, and WCF
• Oversee development and deployment of Windows Services and Web Services (SOAP/REST)
• Design, develop, and scale applications on Azure Cloud, including App Services, Azure Functions, Storage, and SQL
• Guide front-end development using AJAX, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
• Manage and optimize MS SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries
• Use Entity Framework / EF Core for efficient data access and persistence
• Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce secure coding practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product teams
• Own delivery timelines, sprint planning, and risk mitigation in Agile/Scrum environments

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development using .NET technologies, with at least 4 years of experience as a Lead.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership or architectural role
• Expertise in C# and/or VB.NET, with strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Strong experience with Win Forms, ASP.NET MVC/Web Forms, WCF, and Web API
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core/.NET 6+
• Working knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and deployment best practices
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery

Good to have:

• Cloud Platforms – Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• TypeScript/JavaScript – Frontend or full-stack exposure for ML product interfaces.
• Experience with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, etc.)
• Exposure to containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
