Job Description:
Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Analytics Manager with at least 5 years of experience in data analytics or data science to join our Merkle Analytics team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for analyzing data, building insightful reports, and developing models that support data-driven decision-making across marketing campaigns and customer intelligence projects.
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions and reporting frameworks while gaining exposure to advanced data modeling and machine learning techniques.
Key Accountabilities
a) Maintain ongoing client reporting requirements such as weekly campaign summaries and performance dashboards.
b) Perform data preparation tasks including data loading, validation (QC), and cleaning.
c) Design and deliver reports and dashboards using tools such as Alteryx Designer and Power BI.
d) Write SQL queries for data extraction and transformation to support reporting and ad hoc requests.
e) Collaborate with the Associate Analytics Director on:
Designing and optimizing data strategies and architectures.
Building predictive models using client datasets to understand customer behaviors.
Evaluating new data sources to enhance insight capabilities.
Job Requirement
Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or data warehousing.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy.
Proficient in SQL and capable of managing analytics projects from end to end.
Good command of English, especially in professional and technical communication.
Nice to have
Experience in applied statistics (e.g. regression, hypothesis testing).
Familiarity with data science toolkits such as Python, R, or MatLab.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase).
Understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g. Decision Trees, SVM, Random Forest).
Experience with ETL tools, especially Alteryx.
Basic coding in HTML/CSS, AMPscript, or JavaScript for marketing automation.
Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
