Create impact as a Technical Pricing Specialist.
NRMA Insurance has been helping Australians with their general insurance and actively supporting communities for 100 years. Part of Insurance Australia Group (known as IAG), we’re proud to be one of Australia’s most iconic brands.
Your Role
Joining NRMA Insurance’s Pricing team, you’ll play a crucial role in advising and supporting the personal motor products portfolio, with a strong focus on technical excellence and data-driven decision-making. Your unique contribution will involve developing and applying advanced technical pricing models and analysis to help accurately price every insurance risk across Australia. By leveraging data and analytics, you’ll ensure we offer fair, competitive, and sustainable premiums to our customers.
As part of a high-performing team, you’ll help shape and deliver world-class pricing solutions. This includes exploring and applying cutting-edge innovations in machine learning, predictive analytics, and actuarial science. Your work will contribute to our research and development efforts aimed at advancing pricing capabilities. You'll provide expert technical advice and collaborate with the wider NRMA and IAG pricing community, helping to deliver strategic pricing projects and improve our modelling, processes, and governance frameworks.
This is a time of transformation and innovation at NRMA, and we're looking for individuals who are curious, forward-thinking, and ready to challenge conventional approaches. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks—from estimating risk costs, building and validating models, and producing stakeholder insights, to identifying efficiency opportunities and mentoring fellow analysts. You’ll also contribute to industry awareness, governance standards, and knowledge sharing across teams, helping to create meaningful, data-driven solutions that deliver real value to the business and our customers.
This is a permanent role, and we welcome applicants from all major cities in Australia.
