Risk Analytics Manager

The Risk Analytics Manager is accountable for developing, maintaining, and monitoring Fraud Operations, Fraud Customer Contact, and Fraud Strategy and Data Projects that support the Enterprise Fraud Team. The Candidate will take the lead coordinating the modernization of the Fraud processes through development of data driven solutions, while partnering with model management, Fraud Operations, Technology, and various product teams.  They will work with the fraud strategy team and other Fraud Team members to ensure solutions are delivered on time. In addition, collect and analyze information, and then use that information to create solutions for business problems.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform advanced analysis to provide guidance and intelligence on business priorities to support enterprise fraud organization using advanced techniques and tools.
  • Strong partnership with vendors, various product teams, fraud operations and technology teams to effectively create and modernize reporting and analytics.
  • Serve as an escalation point for team members and help articulate the higher-level vision and requirements.
  • Effectively manage competing priorities with strict deliverables, including Ad-Hoc reporting for key stakeholders which continuously need to be prioritized.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience with managing business intelligence teams at another financial institution required, preferably within the fraud or risk areas.
  • Proficiency with data extraction/manipulation/mining tools (data processing and analysis), such as SQL, SAS, Python 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Advanced Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills preferably in Financial Services industry
  • Excellent communications (oral and written), interpersonal / business partnering, and organizational skills
  • Experience with the project management lifecycle through Agile
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services (preferred)

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Economics or other quantitative, business or technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and business applied experience.

Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Management, Economics or other quantitative, business or technical discipline preferred.

Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per week:  40

Work Schedule:  8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
