Please note that this position requires on-site work at the client’s office, and relocation to The United Arab Emirates is required.

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Quality & Governance Engineer to join our team. The project focuses on building a new data platform for our client in the UAE.

You will be:

  • participating in a greenfield project focused on building a new data platform in the finance sector, 

  • defining and implementing data quality rules – both technical and business 

  • managing the data lifecycle and usage standards, 

  • creating documentation and conducting workshops with business users, 

  • collaborating with technical teams and data owners, 

  • working 100% on-site in Abu Dhabi as part of an international team of specialists from Europe and India. 

Requirements

Your profile:

  • ready to start within 6 weeks,

  • minimum of 5 years in a data governance or similar role,

  • strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality principles,

  • experience with data quality tools and technologies (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation or similar),

  • excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,

  • knowledge of Python and SQL,

  • ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment,

  • strong written and verbal English communication skill and proficient in communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

  • Azure Cloud experience
